MONSTER COLD WATER NATIVE PREDATOR TANK- POSSIBLE PROBLEMS

MONSTER COLD WATER NATIVE PREDATOR TANK- POSSIBLE PROBLEMS

Postby mjj4307 » 23 Jun 2012, 01:16

I Have several monster tropical predator tanks but would like to set up a native cold water tank containing Preds like :-

1-Northern pike
2-trout
3-Perch

Size wise i was thinking of 10-20" per fish

They would go in my 10x2.5 x2ft tank which is in my cellar

I can keep the temp at 60 degrees which is perfect.

my filters do 8 tank changes an hour and i have spray bars and 2 power heads for the current

Can anyone suggest a problem with this idea?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

nothing wrong with the setup
the only issue i see is mainly with the pike... they dont really florish in a tank environment
the perch will love it tho... i had a shoal of them not long ago and they are evil little fcukers.... and ALWAYS hungry
